This week we made Custardy Apple Squares for our Tuesday's with Dorie recipe. This was an easy recipe that we all enjoyed. My daughter even liked it, she loves apples, but does not like them cooked. She liked them in this recipe!
We loved the simplicity of this recipe. We sliced all the apples using a mandolin, all of the batter was easily prepared in a single bowl, then the apples were added and coated and all was placed in a pan to cook. (We did turn down the temp to 375, because be knew 400 was too high for our oven.) Simple and yummy.
